About what to watch afterwards, I'd vote for King's avatar, too. I haven't seen it but I've heard good things about it. Oh, and if you've not watched it please check out Winter Begonia! (鬓边不是海棠红) It's on viki and is based on a BL but they really toned it down. Like. A. Lot. Still, it was a pleasant watch with great cast n production. One of the leads is a good friend of Yibo's - Yin Zheng, and his performance was wonderful. Other than that, I guess Il' only waiting for SaYe adaptations to come out next year, lol. So I might go into hibernating after MDZS adaptations wrap up here.

2021-08-24 16:46:17 +0000 UTCYour thoughts on JGY pretty much sum up mine. No matter how horrible his past had been, it does not justify his actions. He made many choices for worse. I think that, in the end, he was a slave to his past: having loved his mother - his whole world - so much so that he was willing to inflict harm upon others in her name (my interpretation anyways.) And right to the end, when everything else failed, JGY relied on his greatest weapon: his words. LXC I love you but you really are too lenient with him. Glad he's starting to see through all his bullshit as well. If I'd had to point one thing on JGY I hate the most it'd likely be him victimizing himself. I must commend on his self-awareness, though. At least he knows he's being pathetic.
