2021-08-08 18:45:58 +0000 UTCI'd say quite solid first episode :) I'm being cautiously optimistic with this (S2 was such a letdown for me.) As you mentioned, there're a couple of cool transitions and beautiful camera work done. Though the ep dragged a bit towards the end. At this point, I don't even care how much they alter the source material, as long as it makes a coherent story (plz plz be as good as S1!!) I must say I was a bit thrown away by all that smiling, Hanguang-jun. I think you smiled more in this one episode that in those last two seasons combined :D Also, some quite bold statements in the op, it's interesting to see how far they push their boundaries.
