I can understand that. And all the VA dynamics are so interesting, thank you so much for sharing cause I don't always think of checking the voice actors before hand. :-)

When I first read the novel, the Yi City arc really got me, and that's why I felt a little disappointed after watching the live-action. Neither the adaption nor the acting of the three actors is satisfactory enough, although I don't deny there are several shining points. I wish they could have represented the eye-dotting summoning trick for I was looking forward to its visualization.
To clarify your confusion while watching this ep, the VA for WWX didn't dub XY. XY's VA is the one who dubbed Nie Huaisang in the animation. By the way, the VA for XXC dubbed Lan Sizhui in the animation, and his deep voice is one of my favorites.
