Imo he needed an outlet for is confusions – Imo LZ was not yet sure about his feelings at that time, but they started to take proper shape in the cave. I think the whole xuanwu arc is a process of him really falling in love and being able to name the feeling by the end of it (through wangxian.) And speaking of the song IT. IS. FREAKING. HEAVENLY! This’s the Titanic level love song for me <3 I appreciate all versions but this original one just captures the longing like no other. It’s a shame there’re no lyrics, though. There is an official version of wangxian song in YT. Maybe you already checked it out? It’s amazing. Please react to it, if you’ve not watched it already ^^ Haha you’re not weird :-D I went ahead and performed this song in karaoke once xD Thank you for finally reacting to this episode all the way through <3<3<3
