Ok, it’s only in Legends that the Credit makes any sense, it’s based on the worth of the metal natural resources of the planet Aargau, owned by the Banking Clan, that’s pretty simple

WHAT THE HELL EVEN IS A “GALACTIC CREDIT”? Never has the CONCEPT of money and economy felt so meaningless, just glancing at Wookiepedia, Republic Credits became worthless overnight, THEN Empire Credits became worthless overnight when New Republic Credits came around.

Wupiupi Wupiupi Wupiupi The currency that's hard to get Wupiupi Wupiupi Wupiupi But you can get her yet

Wupiupi is encoded in my head forever because of the Episode I Visual Dictionary that I just read over and over again as a kid when the movie came out. Those Visual Dictionaries are almost a Patreon episode unto themselves, like they made the first physical holocron props just to take pictures of them for the Episode II book, at a time when I doubt George had even read about the concept of holocrons

Natalie's pitch-perfect Darth Vader impression destroyed me

Paul Puccio

Yeah—the Charles Soule run of the current Vader comic was very good in that regard I think

Rad Rodge

I think one of the things I liked about the Obi Wan show is they do show the transition point between Anakin and Vader, like they didn't just slap him in that armor and he became that guy. There's a part where he's an incredibly violent, brooding, vindictive, petty monster and feels a lot more like Anakin

G Goldhar

Those Battlefront II logs brought back some ancient memories. I played that game a lot in middle school and that story went hard.

"hoo-hoo ha-hum" classic vader

Joda killed me where I stood

IMO the prison arc of Andor gave the best explanation for the inconsistency of droid vs organic laborers: “we’re cheaper than droids, and easier to replace.” Since droids are imaginary it’s kind of vague how much they cost, so it’s entirely possible that when we see organic people doing work that droids were also doing in a different factory that’s just because some accountant looking at the spreadsheet decided that they could save a few thousand wupiupis that way.

Those Battlefront II cutscenes are utterly worth hearing in the original. Was a great take.

If the fate of the Templar Order tells us anything, the Jedi being the galaxy’s bank and holding all of the debts would not have saved them.
