2023-08-08 22:48:03 +0000 UTCI adore the sequence of Reni reading Trace's memories; the way everything is in fractals and the changing color gradients in the background. Also adore the hidden mask on the far left side, a tiny detail that you can almost not even notice upon first reading! Page 1082 with Flora pouncing Trace is something I go back to over and over again. It's drawn in such a way that you can feel the weight of her body smashing Trace to the ground; how the incoming thumping is foreboding and the detail of her fur still being wet from swimming in the pool. It's just fantastic!
