2026-02-19 14:04:07 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite Manga chapters and one of my favorite One Piece episodes, this was cinema. Big Mom musical reintroduction is a an incredible stand out moment in the series for me, there is so much color and movement, so whimsical and diligently contrasts the song lyrics. What a masterfully dark way to to paint a character; a blood coated rainbow is all I can say about it.

The animation and drawings are also much more consistent in this arc. The first time since timeskip where I notice Toei putting more effort into everything
