What they're saying is there is an island at the end of the log pose directions, and then there's Raftel which is a secret island beyond that point. It's like in Mario there's a world 8, and then a secret world

2026-01-26 18:56:49 +0000 UTCTLDR of what Dog Storm said is that the final island on the Grand Line the Log Poses will point you to is not actually Raftel, but one where you are supposed to learn about Raftel, Ancient Weapons, the Poneglyphs, etc. for the first time... hence why Roger had to redo everything The SHs have been on pt.2 of the journey pretty much since they acquired Nico Robin, but that was only after we met Crocus, so that's why he technically didn't lie to us, by saying that doing pt.1 of the journey is how you (eventually) get to Raftel – only explaining because bad CR subs

Roger circumnavigated twice but with luck we won't have to more than once. However when Crocus warned Luffy to pick 1 of 7 initial paths wisely, Luffy said it's fine because if he doesn't like it he can just do it again, which is the moment we can tell Crocus recognized quality in Luffy, and it only makes sense now.
