Speaking about bounty hunters, I think Oda made main theme a Dream that makes people stronger and order to protect. Dream is main power of pirates and Order is main power of Marines. I'm not sure where you can but bounty hunters in this situation

2026-02-03 16:17:36 +0000 UTCI think the reason that there are not many bounty hunters at this stage is because the New World is controlled by the Four Emperors. If you mess with someone like Jack for example, I don't think you will live for long.

Normally in one piece, someone will get a silhouette and that will dragged out forever. I think we saw kaidos silhouette for the first time in enies lobby, these things go on for arcs and arcs sometimes. But in this arc, both of the people who had silhouettes were revealed almost immediately. Dog storm didnt even have a silhouette when he was revealed so he doesn’t count but both Jack AND cat viper were revealed in the same instance as their silhouette which I really like

2026-01-13 18:05:00 +0000 UTCI think the reason we don't see that many bounty hunters that are strong enough to go after the big shot pirates is because once you're strong enough, you either get criminalized for being strong, or you get drafted into the marines for military power. Zoro was criminalized and he wasn't even THAT strong back then.

2026-01-13 14:23:45 +0000 UTCYh with bounties if you're strong enough to chase criminals with bounties in the billions you can do something else We still havr organizations that aren't pirate affiliated/pirate crews that collect money and rewards all over. Like Baroque works. We also have pirate delivered services such as Buggy's Delivery Service. Zoro did say he never claimed to be a bounty hounter and that's just the label he was given by people, while he needed money to eat. So once he got that figured out he's not really one. Same applies to most Bounty hunters, with just a 100 millions you're kinda set for life as a citizen so a bounty in the billion is just too much😂.

2026-01-13 11:16:17 +0000 UTCI think bounty hunting's more for like your average sailor who wants to make a quick buck. He targets a few easy marks, turns them in and gets to eat for a week or two. Basically what Zoro was doing before meeting Luffy. A decent living for some folks in any of the 4 Blues I'm sure, or even the "Paradise"-half of the Grand Line. But the vast majority of bounty hunters are severely outclassed by the biggest bounties out there. Certainly there exist a few anomalies such as the cactus-faced dude in Dressrosa, during Luffy's block in the tournament. He claimed to take down a few escapees from Impel Down which makes him fairly strong, but in the end he stood no real chance against Luffy or Don Chinjao. All this to say, anyone with the genuine power to take down the most notorious pirates on the seas would likely have grander ambitions than a lowly career in bounty hunting.

2026-01-13 11:02:25 +0000 UTCThe lack of bounty hunters is something that many fans point out. We've met a few, but not many. Baroque Works was a bounty hunter organization; Yeti Cool Brothers were bounty hunters; the Corrida Colosseum had some bounty hunters take part in the tournament. I'm probably forgetting someone but that's pretty much it.
