The site I was watching one piece at the time kept op 15 all the way through punk hazard for some strange reason so I never got to see 16 my first watch through.

OP 18 when Luffy's Gear 3 hand extends from the mountain face, that was a nod towards Naruto's (Hokage Mountain face) Manga resolution. Really like how these openings with how much fun they look while showing the Strawhats hanging out on the ship, really emphasizes what the One Piece really is about.
