I usually watch the episode and then come watch yalls reaction right after, but I had to wait a while after the whole dead kid thing that was a little much to just jump right back in on. They went out of the way to make us care about the kid and then have him smile that silly tooth missing smile before he knowingly drank poison felt like a gut punch for sure. Cant wait for next week, this has been the best arc so far no doubt.

2025-06-09 07:28:32 +0000 UTCI might be coping too but I feel like Loulan used the same medicine that Suirei used. After all, she did say it's not poison, but "medicine". Maybe if they think that they're dead then they'll have a chance to escape, and that's what Loulan needs Maomao's help for?
