One Piece Episode 563 UNCUT REACTION!

I think some of the comments, while I agree to an extent, do seem to take it a little far. I wouldn’t say Hordy had “no reason” for his hatred. The things the humans did to the fishmen were still very real, even if he never experienced them himself. Hordy is a product of the actions of evil humans more than he is a product of the fishmen not being able to simply give up their hatred for being mistreated. I really enjoy him as a villain for this arc.

Hammond attacked the clone with the net, the clone went 'poof', Robin sprouted a new clone on Hammond's body (like she usually does with arms) and then did the Double Clutch attack. No teleporting or switching places involved in that explanation.

Because Hordy willing to kill his own side without logic and outright lacked anything I could sympathize with, I was terrified personally. Unlike almost every other antagonist in One Piece, there was not much justifiable in his actions on a psychological level. Other pirates are greedy, power-hungry, and ambitious. Despots are also those things with god-complexes. So I wasn't as terrified of Arlong, Crocodile, Enel, Spandam, or Moria because I relate to the fact that all of us also want at least some wealth, fame, or power; they were just drunk on it. Even without tragic backstories or heroic mission to make me feel bad for them, they were still good as villains. So I'm glad so many of us today understand the point of Hordy's emptiness. It is 100% intentional in my view. Being racist without personal reason is not something that deserves a tragic backstory we can fawn over. The fishmen who suffered firsthand earned their hatred, but Hordy is stuck secondhand-hating like an addiction. And that's when it clicked: racism as an identity is just a drug like energy steroids. It makes him feel good. It's hard to quit. It gives fake power. That genius Oda knew what he was doing by making him a junkie.
