One Piece UPDATE
Added 2025-04-02 22:13:25 +0000 UTCSorry for leaving you all in the dark for a few days as we decided exactly how to move forward with One Piece and catching up on things we missed. Our uncut reaction to One Piece Movie 6: Baron Omatsuri will be uploaded later today and will be available for ALL paid tiers as a thank you to everyone for sticking with us for 500 episodes! (All future movies will be reserved for the Student Council tier we just wanted to do one thing special for reaching such a huge milestone)
For our Uncut tier: Tomorrow we will be uploading the first couple episodes of Fishman Island! Hopefully we will have you guys back on track for uncuts within the week.
Edit: We will be watching the original version of Fishman Island but we will watch the remake at a later point to see the differences
The podcast will be up asap but sometimes it takes a while to edit so even if we haven’t gotten it up before we post the next arc just know it was recorded before those episodes.
We have decided it will be best to continue on with the main story at a slightly reduced pace and catch up with the side stuff at the same time with one or two things being posted a week until we catch up. Hopefully this will work out for everyone!

Joined like few others here to just say dont inflict OG fishman upon urself, u will regret it. There is a reason this specific arc was remastered, because it was unbearable. U lose nothing, remaster is just the better version. Another reason u might reconsider is u would be first reactors on YT to react to remaster as first time watchers, also personally I (would guess other people too) skip watching reactions to fishman island excluding two or three hype moments.

I personally don’t like OG fishman island as it suffers from a lot of the anime problems that Toei has and it’s easily the worse here (bad pacing, animation, artstyle, etc), but if you’re up for it then enjoy! I hope you guys check out the One Piece Fan Letter after Ep 522 (there’s no spoilers and it takes place during the Return to Sabaody Arc), as it’s easily one of the greatest One Piece episodes. It gives a great glimpse as to what the future of the anime has to offer such as Megumi Ishitani’s wonderful directing, and is an overall out of this world experience 🙏
