Yeah 11 players is rough but for weird reasons.
The biggest isn’t making combat difficult, I’ve got a handle on that
And it’s not hard to weave their stories in.
The hardest part is that, like I talk about in one piece, only one person can talk at a time. So inevitably people become disinterested. If they are sitting for hours without being able to do much. The game just isn’t made for that many people.
Scheduling is also a nightmare mate but pretty much every player is able to make it to 3 sessions a month, Abel’s everyone loves playing. But it’s hard to get everyone 100% locked in when not everyone is engaged at the same time

Eleven players is insane! Do you find it difficult to dm with such a large group?

I’m the dm for our main campaign with 11 players. Lindsay is a player
And there are two other guys in our group who dm from time to time.
One game is an evil campaign where I play an Aasimar oathbreaker paladin named Hale Calagyle. He has golden hair and eyes, pale white-grey skin. He wields an iron great sword made out of soul coins, that was gifted to him by his patron - Calagyle - who forced him into a pact in order to prevent her from destroying his home town. With this sword, has to kill someone in every town he visits as a part of his pact. After which he has to sharpen and clean his blade in a nearby water source. (Kind of a good guy going down an evil path type vibe)
My other character in a “good” campaign is a half orc (other half is Tiefling) bloodhunter. He has purple skin, dark hair, orange eyes, with sharp, thin black horns that point upward like a tuning fork, one of which is snapped off. He wears dark leather and uses a whip that when cracked sounds like a bolt of lightning (he can imbue weapons with lightning damage by damaging himself). His name is Herman. He is a part of an order called the Jagged Coterie that is looking for the spell book of an ancient Lich Lord, who was betrayed by his harem-coven of witches. One page was found by his upper classman, who herself was a powerful bloodhunter that he admired and respected. But upon turning in the page to the order, she was instantly excommunicated from the order and no one knew why.
That was more than you asked for but I love taking any opportunity to talk about my characters.

So there's 11 S rank hunter in that one guild in Japan. On the manhwa it does mentioned how many there are in Japan so there's much more S ranks in Japan than 11

Interesting inspiration for Baran and Kaiselin
I'm not well versed on Dark Souls and alike so I bet most of these fly over my head lol
