Look I would change it but the booty has gone too far they will sing my name thousands of years from now purely based on the aura of my naming scheme alone (I think I will change it eventually I’m getting really sick and tired of this stupid ass name #cassiegang4lyfe)

2025-02-12 02:45:07 +0000 UTCnot about the dark dark fruit
blim blam
2025-02-12 02:38:55 +0000 UTCAnd now you learn why Marrines need to take a hostage against Whitebeard. Speaking of WB fruits - it can caouse tremor in the space and air, and this is why everything goes whild when WB is doing his moves

2025-02-11 22:39:39 +0000 UTCBlackbeard's fruit is the Dark Dark fruit However he mentioned that his power of attraction especially towards devil fruits is like gravity. He uses that strength to crush the things he absorbs. Calling his fruit Gravity fruit is just misleading
Sanji Joestar
2025-02-11 21:43:16 +0000 UTCTechnically, no. Just with DF he has some kind of gravity I think
Gino
2025-02-11 21:37:36 +0000 UTCGura Gura is a japanese onomatopoeia for like the rumbling of the earth, like a tremor; not gravity.
Vinny C
2025-02-11 21:37:23 +0000 UTCBlackbeard has the Gravity Fruit.
Envyus
2025-02-11 21:19:56 +0000 UTCit was already stated in a previous episode what the gura gura fruit is so not a spoiler: its quake quake, the exact quote was something like, "he has the gura gura fruit, hes a quake man". implying earthquakes
JoP
2025-02-11 21:02:28 +0000 UTCJust remember that the name doesn’t always correspond 1:1 for example, robins’ fruit is called the flower flower fruit (Hana Hana no mi). But ostensibly the way it works is to flower your body parts to grow wherever you want and not literally sprout flowers

2025-02-11 19:30:15 +0000 UTCThinking gura is for gravity is so funny. just like the whole gum gum vs rubber rubber since gomu=rubber

2025-02-11 18:33:42 +0000 UTCMy interpretation is that the Quake Fruit user can generate energy, that's basically the power and what vibrations (waves) are according to physics. Vibrate the air and you get a shockwave. Vibrate the ground and you get a tremor. Vibrate the fabric of space itself and you even see the air/land/sea crack, warp, or tilt. I think Whitebeard's power is just that, vibrating space. It just so happens that large bodies of mass spinning a lot also generate gravity waves in the fabric of space but this power is centered around creating vibrations in general.
Veritas
2025-02-11 17:39:05 +0000 UTCDon't think that's how that works Like here it's still in the realm of his tremor powers as he creates quakes and vibrations The scale is just insane
Sanji Joestar
2025-02-11 15:57:25 +0000 UTCwhen sengoku said ''he has the power to destroy the world'' he meant it lol

2025-02-11 15:56:17 +0000 UTCWhen a devil fruit user has high enough mastery, they can start doing techniques that have almost nothing to do with their devil fruit name

2025-02-11 15:52:02 +0000 UTCGarp said it’s the tremor tremor fruit

2025-02-11 15:41:47 +0000 UTCWhitebeard has high mastery of his Quake fruit
Lūthér Hölâyèãhmé
2025-02-11 15:40:49 +0000 UTCWe started saying it in the Kuro fight early on and it just keeps being the “ultimate move” for every powerful person. When people pull out their strongest shit, it is always an area of effect attack that distinguishes neither friend from foe

2025-02-11 15:30:03 +0000 UTCI look forward to a discussion about these big AoE attacks you’ve memed on since the beginning, because it’s a very real thing in this arc.

2025-02-11 15:02:31 +0000 UTCWhitebead could literally destroy the entire world, bros casually moving tectonic plates

2025-02-11 14:49:25 +0000 UTC“He’s single-handedly replacing the entire crew” so fucking true lmao

2025-02-11 14:45:27 +0000 UTC‘Gura’ is the onomatopoeia for shaking.
Monkey D. Lucci
2025-02-11 14:18:27 +0000 UTCWhere does it come from I’ve been curious about this for 50 million years
Bootyman555
2025-02-11 14:14:39 +0000 UTCSo basically Whitebeard can crack space and manipulate it.
apathy
2025-02-11 13:55:07 +0000 UTCIt was explicitly stated as being the tremor-tremor fruit a few episodes ago, i dunno how you can arrive at the conclusion its a gravity fruit all of a sudden...
Anq
2025-02-11 13:50:23 +0000 UTCDevil fruits seem to be only limited by the users own imagination and interpretation. Look at Kuma, his fruit repels, so he has learned to repel objects, people, the air, himself as a form of transportation. He even repels non tangible things like pain. So I just believe white beard it’s using the extent of his powers to “quake” or shift the plates to alter the terrain.

2025-02-11 13:45:42 +0000 UTCFun fact we saw John Giant very early on in the series, right after Arlong Park to be precise. When Luffy first received his bounty of 30M. He was making a speech about the Justice of the Marines as they all stood up aligned.

2025-02-11 12:41:12 +0000 UTCIn Carson's defense, we've seen several Devil Fruit names borrow from the English language (some examples being Mr. 3 and Ivan's fruits). Plus seeing the absolute crazy shit Whitebeard just pulled in this episode, I totally get why Carson would think that "Gura" = "Gra"vity. But as everyone's been saying, Gura is simply the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of quaking. That makes Whitebeard a vibration/quake human. How does that explain why he was able to tilt everything by somehow grabbing the air? I'm afraid I can't really say. But it's worth clarifying so we don't keep expecting Whitebeard to use gravity powers that he doesn't actually have.
100Rainy
2025-02-11 12:40:27 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure he can make ANYTHING quake/vibrate, even the air. That's how he's deflecting bullets. So he can cause vibrations at any point in the ground as far as I can tell.
Ariix
2025-02-11 12:31:06 +0000 UTCI think he’s tipping the ground itself not affecting gravity.

2025-02-11 12:11:31 +0000 UTCWhitebeard's fruit is Tremor-Tremor (the title of Episode 462 and Garp also mentioned it when he emcee'd his introduction) it's Gura Gura No Mi in Japanese, it is also his laugh by the way GURAGURAGURA

2025-02-11 11:54:21 +0000 UTC"Guragura" (グラグラ/ぐらぐら) is a Japanese onomatopoeia describing loose, irregular/unstable movements (shaking, wobbling, etc.), such as the shaking during an earthquake.
Lucas Franco
2025-02-11 11:53:41 +0000 UTCGura gura is known as the tremor-trmor fruit in English. For japaneses earthquakes are known to be strong and scary. When the earth titlted it was him messing with the tectonic plates (my interpretation) by shifting them.
Nicolas LeBlanc
2025-02-11 11:51:50 +0000 UTCBrooo, imagine Whitebeard pulls up a Gomu Gomu no Gatling, Enel would have felt that shit from afar.

2025-02-11 11:43:36 +0000 UTCCarson has some weird moments this reaction 🤣 First the Aokiji ice wooshing and then suddenly Whitebeard has the gravity fruit instead of the tremor fruit
cyberc33
2025-02-11 11:42:58 +0000 UTCWhitebeard has tremor-tremor fruit, so he's an "earthquake" man. He shifted the earth's tectonic plates with his "tilting" thing. At least I assume so
