Here's a first look at the Turbo Morpher. Still a work in progress as a lot of the detail hasn't been modeled yet. Currently I'm working on the mechanical system that will trigger the electrical system. This will be powered using 2xCr2032 Watch batteries in series which should be enough to power the Adafruit Trinket M0 as well at the Button and LEDs.
How It will Work
There's an internal cylinder that will rotate when you insert your Key. I plan on having the cylinder on some kind of spring system as well so when you turn it 90 Degrees you get that resistance like you're starting a car or something, also allowing the cylinder to reset back to place. This is still being worked out. Also, when you turn the cylinder you will also strike a button and or switch which will in turn trigger the LEDs.
The RGBYP will have their respective colors triggered. The animation I'm trying to get is each light falling up behind the other starting with red, flashing some number of times, and starting a rainbow chase initiating the morph.
The Key will of course fold and sprint out by the push of a button. That will probably be the last thing that will get modeled.
These are all conceptual ideas, and I will know more once I'm able to work on the code. For now, I'm working finishing up the mechanical and electrical systems.
Hope everyone is looking forward to this. This was a high requested morpher and I hope to have it done for you by the end of the year.
