About: Shikamaru Nara is widely considered to be a Genius, and that has been more than proven thanks to his record in the Konoha-Oto War and the Konoha Crush that started it. As one of the three worthies, Nara Shikamaru has more than proven his bona fides. Nara Shikamaru could be seen as a Ninjutsu Specialist, with his varied collection of Elemental Ninjutsu, Nara Clan Techniques, and Crab Summoning. However, brushing him off as just another Ninjutsu Specialist is doing him a disservice. Nara Shikamaru's main specialty is his strategic and tactical acumen, as has been normal for the most elite of the Shinobi produced by the Nara Clan.
Nara Shikamaru has claimed multiple bounties himself, such as Terumi Masanori, the Renegade Heir to the Terumi Clan, or Kidomaru of the East Gate. He also shares credit for multiple others, including Guren of the Razored Crystal. He also has been rumored to be using his posting as the Ambassador to Suna to work on the Wind Nature Transformation Exercises and it is likely he will have that elemental affinity by the time he returns from his diplomatic posting.
