Here are Images for Chapter Forty-Four. Mostly, this concerns Blaise's Jaunt to the Palace of Fortuna. I will note that the Treasury and Crypt where Good Luck and Bad Luck respectively spring from are not so much physical structures as they are mystical ones. Gods tend to work best in story and metaphor, hence Blaise sees them as a Treasury for Good Luck and a Crypt for Bad Luck. He associates good luck with wealth and bad luck with death, after all. They aren't actually that.
At any rate, the next chapter will involve Blaise's attempt to get a cutting of the Metamorphing Mandragora. He can't make certain potions or alchemical mixtures without one, since the ingredients are either rare enough to have export restrictions placed on them or extinct. Then we'll have his birthday celebration with his friends before doing a time-skippy chapter to finish out the school year.
Stay tuned. . .
