Chapter 20

The City of Gser Pho Brang, Shenwrab Miwo's Capital, looked like many other Goa'uld Cities that had been built by Non-Abnormal Goa'uld. That was to say that it largely looked like a traditional city of the Culture that inhabited the planet. Only some of the System Lords tended to build cities that actually looked like they incorporated large amounts of technology into them, and even then, only their capitals tended to look like that. Even when they did, the whole oeuvre was more one of magic than technology, as things like the floating summer palace of Lord Yu tended to be propped up by anti-gravity engines that were disguised with cunning masonry to appear like pillars of carved jade, while the former Capital of Moloc was designed to appear like the domain of the Lord of the Dead, with environmental shields that gave light in that pit of a City a reddish haze as if the very sun was bleeding.

Gser Php Brang had none of that, however. To any outside observer, the Dzong-style architecture would not have been out of place in a major Tibetan City at any point from the seventh to the eighteenth centuries. Looks could be deceiving, however. I knew that for however traditional the city looked, it housed a number of workshops for the production of finished technology from parts assembled elsewhere. Large, Stucco-painted, buildings were not temples, but assembly plants for Ma'tok Staff Weapons, Zat'nic'tels, Ptah-class Fighters, and so on. These were interspersed with housing, shops, and all the things that made a city work, all crowded around a large, artificial mountain in the center of a valley, atop which stood Shenwrab Miwo's Palace.

"He has not activated his Shield Generators yet." Mused Chen as we gazed down into the valley below at the head of our combined army.

"What would be the point? He saw how such a defense was no proof against conquest at Mgarpa Sacha. Likely he is preparing to fight an urban battle from house to house and street to street. It is a clever move if you can simply discard the lives of the workers and non-combatants in the city." Scowled General Yan.

"Shenwrab Miwo has no love for anyone aside from himself. One need only look at how he treated Mokosh to see such a thing." Scoffed Gyalpo Pehar.

"Indeed. That being so, I propose the following, that Chen, Myself, and Gyalpo Pehar take a strike force via ring transport into Shenwrab Miwo's Palace while Konchok and General Yan engage the enemy forces on a single flank in the city." I opined.

"Which flank?" Questioned Konchok.

"Which else? The Industrial District. It is not entirely a bad plan." Nodded General Yan.

"General Yan is correct. The bulk of the workshops are concentrated in one area of Gser Pho Brang. There will be minimal non-combatants there to get caught in the battle, but Shenwrab Miwo cannot afford to lose those workshops and so must send significant forces to contest them." I elaborated.

"You are the strangest Imperial Goa'uld I have ever met. You realize this, yes?" Queried Gyalpo Pehar.

"You mean about the concern I am showing for non-combatant casualties?" I asked.

"It does seem odd for an Imperial Goa'uld. Almost Abnormal." Hedged Konchok.

"It is realistic. Why waste valuable workers and manpower in such destructive fighting? If you must consider it anything, consider it enlightened self-interest. The more care you show for the average human worker or Jaffa under your rule, the more productive they will be and the more willing they will be to follow your commands. Even my Uncle knows this, and it is why he has not suffered a single Jaffa revolt in over a thousand years. How many other System Lords can say the same? I am simply taking that thought to its logical conclusion." I defended, knowing that Gyalpo Pehar was not quite ready to hear me admit to being abnormal just yet.

"And that is why we follow you to the death, My Lord. Your care for our lives and the lives of our families proves you a merciful and benevolent God, worthy of nothing but the best service." Intoned Chen.

"Let us put philosophy to the side for the time being and look at the plan proposed. I admit that it has merit and will agree to such a plan on one condition." Insisted Gyalpo Pehar.

"Name it." I agreed.

"When we take control of Shenwrab Miwo's Palace, I wish to end Mokosh's Canoptic Imprisonment. She will rule Laska as your vassal, much as I will rule Sa Dong." Demanded Gyalpo Pehar.

"You care a great deal for Mokosh, it seems. Some would call that a weakness, but I am not counted among their number. I agree to your condition." I confirmed.

"Excellent, then let us turn to what must be done after the death of Shenwrab Miwo. His Jaffa will need to see his body to truly believe him dead. We will need some way to project that image to the whole City in order to effect their surrender." Remarked Gyalpo Pehar.

"It is so. I know Shenwrab Miwo's First Prime. Youdon is as loyal to his Master as they come. He will not issue the stand down order if he cannot confirm Shenwrab Miwo's death with his own eyes." Informed Konchok.

"I will do you one better than a simple image. I can record our battle with Shenwrab Miwo, and send it to the altered Voc'uume aboard the Xiaotian Quan who will then project the recording for the entire city to see. Even if they do not believe their eyes, it will demoralize his Jaffa." I offered.

"Which will allow our main force to more easily defeat the enemy." Grinned Chen, figuring out what I was getting at.

"A decent plan, My Lord. There may be some of Shenwrab Miwo's forces who refuse to believe it, however, and fight on. There are always a few die-hards and fools willing to throw their lives down for the chance that their Lord might live." Cautioned General Yan.

"It is a risk we will simply have to take." I insisted.

"Agreed. How soon will our force be ready?" Questioned Gyalpo Pehar.

"I can have our forces ready for battle in two hours." Informed Konchok.

"We can do the same." Confirmed Chen.

"Yes, it will take about that long to sort out a strike force as well." Affirmed General Yan.

"Then prepare yourselves and your forces. We execute the plan in two hours." I commanded.

And like that, the stage was set for the climactic battle of the War Against Shenwrab Miwo. Chen hand-picked a company of seventy-five Jaffa Warriors for my perusal, even as I had Shun link the modified Voc'uume projector I had been tinkering with to receive and project footage from my helmet came. All while General Yan dealt with organizing our main force for the ground assault on the Gser Pho Brang Industrial District. Likewise, Gyalpo Pehar and Konchok did the same for their force, matching my own contingent of seventy-five hand-picked Jaffa for the strike force with a force of seventy-five of their own Jaffa, making a full company of One-Hundred-Fifty Jaffa for the strike force.

Gaylpo Pehar and his force met with Chen and Mines's Force in the Troop Bay of the Xiaotian Quan at the appointed rendezvous time. Then, two hours after the plan had been floated, our forces began the attack on the Gser Pho Brang Industrial District as we started to Execute the Strategy. Shenwrab Miwo took the bait, we confirmed his shifting forces to deal with the massive incursion. We would wait a bit to truly ensure that his forces were stuck in against our Main Force before enacting the second phase of the Plan.

Half an Hour after that, we judged that the Enemy was stuck in well enough and began ringing our strike force down into Shenwrab Miwo's Palace. . .

XXXX

Shenwrab Miwo, the Great One, Exalted Teacher of the Path, Ruler of Kataki, Overlord of Sa Dong, and Conqueror of Laska, sat in his throne room as his Jaffa relayed messages to and from the front. He scowled as he listened to the numbers being reported. Massive swathes of enemy Jaffa were moving through the Industrial District, bombarding the most heavily fortified of his workshops with fire from Staff Cannons. It was maddening that it should come to this, but Shenwrab Miwo had been in this position before. Of course, back then, he had his trusty vassal, Begtse to lean on for advice. Begste had been slain days previous, however.

Shenwrab Miwo stroked the long, flowing tangles of his beard as he wondered just what it was the enemy was waiting for. They had shown a willingness to bombard cities from orbit before. It had been what had defeated Begtse's strategy, had it not? True, Shenwrab Miwo had held out some hope that not raising the city's shield would avoid such a thing, but still, this was an Imperial Goa'uld at the heart of this attack. The nephew of an enemy of his father's, the so-called Jade Emperor Yu-Huang Shang Ti. With that sort of pedigree and familial rivalry, Shenwrab Miwo doubted that this Erlang Shen would keep from bombarding Gser Pho Brang for long.

"Yu. . .it always comes back to Yu, doesn't it? Does your line not have enough worlds, you decrepit old snake?" Queried Shenwrab Miwo, fingers working a large tangle out of his flowing beard.

"My Lord? We are receiving reports from Youdon. He can hold the Inner Gates of the Industrial District no longer. He is requesting we send reinforcements to meet him in Ironmonger's Courtyard. What shall I tell him?" Asked the Comms Operator, a Second Prime whose name Shenwrab Miwo had never bothered to learn.

"Shift the Forces from the Street of Inns to Ironmonger's Square via Snow Lion Way and tell him to hold the enemy at Ironmonger's Square until I say he can withdraw again. Move our reserves from the Red Courtyard to the Street of Inns to cover." Commanded Shenwrab Miwo.

"My Lord, that will deplete our reserves in that quarter of the City." Warned the Second Prime.

"Do not question the Wisdom of the Exalted Teacher. Simply do as I command." Intoned Shenwrab Miwo.

"As you say, My Lord. It will be done." Nodded the Second Prime, a bit too quickly.

Shenwrab Miwo turned back to the tactical display that he was watching on his throne shortly afterward. He would have to get that Second Prime's name from Youdon when this was all over. He showed a lack of proper faith in his Lord, and as such would need to be flogged until he remembered his place. Seeing that the troops had been dispatched as he had ordered, Shenwrab Miwo nodded to himself, going back to untangling the knot in his flowing beard. Perhaps he should look into having it bound with some sort of wire or beading? No, that was too close to the fashion in Ba'al's Court for comfort. Best not to show any sign of copying such things, lest Ba'al believe it signified a change in allegiance.

"It would not do to defeat one invasion only to invite another, after all." Mused Shenwrab Miwo.

Unfortunately, it seemed that the downsides of being an Independent Goa'uld of the Borderlands were all that Shenwrab Miwo could count on these days. Usually, there were benefits too, but the circumstances prevented that here. Normally, the Goa'uld of the Borderlands could count on the rivals of the System Lords to counterbalance any moves by the System Lords to seize territory in the Borderlands, at least this far into them. Unfortunately, it seemed that the So-Calld Jade Emperor had made peace with Olokun and Amaterasu, and Cronus would not attack, owing to an ongoing border engagement with Ba'al over the contested world of Wilusa, which Cronus insisted was named Troy. That world had changed hands no less than Seven Times between Ba'al and Cronus and it seemed as if it was in the midst of changing hands for an eighth time. Cronus would not commit to an assault on Yu's territory at the moment.

The only other options for intervention were the alliance of Svarog and Camulus. Neither would act without the other, unfortunately and while Camulus might be willing to move to save him, Shenwrab Miwo knew that Svarog would not do so for all the Naquadah in the Galaxy. Gazing over at the Canoptic Sarcophagus that sat in a place of pride in his Throne Room, whirring with light to show it was working, all while its alcove of obsidian and gold was lit with molten light to draw attention to it, Shenwrab Miwo spat on the floor at the foot of his throne.

"This is all your fault, Mokosh! If you had simply bowed to my whims, I would not have had to imprison you in there and your father Svarog might agree to attack Yu and take some pressure off of me!" Snarled Shenwrab Miwo.

Shenwrab Miwo took a deep breath. It mattered little in the end, he supposed. He had conquered one deadly foe, albeit she had been a Minor, Independent, Goa'uld in her own right at the time with nothing but a familial connection to a System Lord. She hadn't had the backing of Svarog's Might like Erlang Shen had the backing of Yu's. Still, as he imagined the look of terror that had crossed the face of Mokosh's Slender, Redheaded, Host as she was forced into her Canoptic Prison, Shenwrab Miwo smiled. He may not be able to do the same for Erlang Shen, or else Yu would come to avenge his nephew, but he imagined he could at least push this invasion back, even if he couldn't launch a counter-invasion.

He did not realize that in moments, his throne room would come under assault and he would see his imagining be proven to be just that, imaginary. . .

XXXX

As I materialized alongside Chen in the first wave of the Assault on Shenwrab Miwo's Palace, I did so inside the large, transport bay in the bowels of the Palace. Immediately, we came under attack by Enemy Jaffa behind barricades. I watched as three of my Strike Force went down to a Neser Grenade thrown from behind the makeshift Trinuim Alloy Barricades. I myself was struck twice by Ma'tok Staff Weapons, though my shields took the blows expertly. I fired back with my Tianyan Staff Rifle, blowing the heads off a trio of Enemy Jaffa in rapid succession even as Chen took down two, clearing one of the two barricades near the blast door, though taking a glancing Ma'tok Staff Weapon Blast to his pauldron as he did so.

Thankfully, the Tianjia Armor my troops wore was a stripped-down version of my own, and nothing less than a Neser Grenade would get through it in a single blast. At least in terms of the Goa'uld Arsenal. I wasn't sure about the Asgard Arsenal. I did no it'd take three or four blasts from a Ma'tok staff unless that staff hit a weak point. I was already working on improvements, I just had to find the time to reverse-engineer the Ancient Armor that Begtse had. The day or so I had spent doing that between the fall of Mgarpa Sacha and today hadn't been nearly enough. I would probably need at least half a year to figure it out. When I did, though, my forces would be as close to invulnerable as I could make them.

Regardless, the first wave of troops was reinforced shortly after Chen and I had downed the first Barricade, and the remaining five Jaffa in the first wave had cleared half the Second Barricade with accurate fire from Tianyan Staff Rifles. Another of my Jaffa went down, wounded but still alive, to a triple blast from the three remaining Enemy Jaffa before the reinforcements arrived and together, we cleared the second barricade of enemy Jaffa. Unfortunately, that only caused a humming to begin near the Blast Door as a force field powered up, snapping into place around the blast door.

I frowned at that. Had they wanted us to do this? When I heard the hissing, however, I knew they had. My armor scanned the ventilation and identified the problem. Shenwrab Miwo's Forces were pumping Anastetic Gas into the now fully-sealed room in order to knock my Jaffa out. If that happened, they would be able to come in and blast them with impunity. I ordered my Jaffa to extend their helms. The Tianjia armor was fully sealed and came with a full helmet complete with horn-like ornamentation and Fiery Golden Lenses that had an integrated HUD. The Fiery Golden Eyes of the lenses helped sell the illusion that these were the warriors of heaven. After all, had not Sun Wukong himself had Fiery Golden Eyes. Aside from the Horns and the Lenses, though, the Helmets would be considered to have very little decoration compared to, of instance, the giant, serpentine, helmets of Apophis' Serpent Guard or the Birdlike Helmets of the Horus Guard of Ra and Heru'ur.

Still, the pared-down helmets protected my Jaffa from the gas while I pried open a wall panel and began re-arranging crystals. Thanks to my Genetic Memory and Enhanced Intellect, I not only was able to lower the Force Field and stop the Gas from filling the room, but I was able to hotwire the ventilation to suck the Gas Back in, sending it out into the hallway to knock out any of Shenwrab Miwo's forces waiting for the Gas to knock out my Jaffa. This happened not a moment too soon, as well, as Gyalpo Pehar began to transport his troops into the Transport Bay and they did not have the same, fully-enclosed, helmet that my Jaffa did.

All told, by the time that we were ready to push on, we only lost three dead Jaffa, one wounded Jaffa, and six unconscious Jaffa who hadn't put their Helmets up in time. Out of a force of one-hundred-fifty Jaffa, that wasn't too shabby. As soon as we were all present, I opened the blast door up and we exited forth into the Hallway. Over three dozen Enemy Jaffa had been knocked unconscious by the sudden gas backlash before they had managed to clear the hall of anesthetic gas. That was around seventy-four percent of the fifty Jaffa that had been lying in wait to execute any unconscious Jaffa that had fallen victim to Shenwrab Miwo's Trap. The thirteen remaining enemy Jaffa stood no chance against the attack of one-hundred-forty Jaffa, being shot to pieces out in the corridor.

We pushed up, gunning down Jaffa as we went. We must have killed or stunned another ninety as we fought through a series of room-lined corridors to push up into the inner sanctum of the palace. Here Jaffa were hidden amongst servants' quarters, guard rooms, and utility closets, popping out in squads to surprise attack us. I must have taken out two dozen on my own, the last and most memorable of these kills waiting until I had already almost passed by the small utility closet he had been hidden in to burst out and tackle me to the floor. He drew a dagger and prepared to try and stab down through a weak point in my armor, but I managed to roll him over and grabbed his face with a gauntleted hand before dashing his head against the stones of the floor, all while more the Jaffa fought yet more ambushes under Gyalpo Pehar and Chen around me. The enhanced strength provided by the powered underlay of my armor, alongside my normal, enhanced strength from being a Goa'uld ensured that I dashed the Jaffa's Brains out on the flagstones.

That finished, I picked up my Tianyan Staff Rifle in time to parry an incoming thrust of a Ma'tok Staff as the firing Aperture passed by the line of my armor's shield while glowing with plasma. I brought the Ma'tok out wide in time for it to discharge plasma into the flagstones of the Palace Floor, punching out at my Opponent, another Enemy Jaffa, and smashing his nose in with my gauntleted fist, sending him skidding back across the flagstones in time for me to discharge my Tianyan Staff Rifle into his prime form. I took one last enemy Jaffa out as he charged me with a fighting dagger only for me to pivot around the thrust and impale his temple with the spike on my Tianyan Staff Rifle.

This distraction cost us a further ten Jaffa killed or wounded, but we pressed on, eventually running up against two more barricades being manned by ten Jaffa Each at a four-way intersection deep within the palace. These barricades were far more expertly put together and the enemy Jaffa were more able to duck down to avoid shots from our Staff Rifles. As we stopped to engage in a firefight with the Barricades to clear them, however, my HUD chimed in that another hundred-odd Jaffa were barreling toward us from the left and right corridors.

"Watch the left and right, we are about to be ambushed once again!" I warned.

"Someone hand me a grenade! I shall deal with the Barricades!" Commanded Gyalpo Pehar.

For good or ill, Chen handed Gyalpo Pehar one of the few Ra'kek grenades we had available that weren't being disassembled to try and reverse-engineer their workings back on Taiji right now. The nozzle-covered sphere was tossed behind and between the two barricades and suddenly spat out over two dozen bolts of golden plasma in all directions, scything down all twenty enemy Jaffa behind the barricades in a burst of golden energy. No wonder the things were called Ra'kek, or Sunburst Grenades. That left us free to deal with the Enemies attacking from the sides.

I pulled a Neser Grenade off my Armor's Magnetic Harness, primed the firing stud, and tossed it down the right-hand corridor. Chen did the same, and together we wound up flattening another dozen Jaffa with twin explosions. I fired my Tianyan Staff Rifle into the reeling cloud, as did Chen, and my Jaffa backed us up. Some were hit, and even some of those went down, hit multiple times, but we were ready for the attack. I was even able to send a dozen or so Jaffa to help Gyalpo Pehar's struggling flank, as his Jaffa were not as well equipped or trained as mine were. After fifteen minutes here, we were able to turn the tables completely and rout the Enemy Jaffa, taking over a dozen and a half casualties between killed or wounded to do so.

We split our forces, then, with forty or so of our Jaffa under Chen collecting the wounded and the bodies of the dead to ferry back to the Transport Room for Transport back to the Xiaotian Quan. Gyalpo Pehar and I led the remaining Seventy Jaffa in a push on the Throne Room. We came up against another four barricades, each with twenty Enemy Jaffa behind them that we cleared through judicious use of Neser Grenades before reaching the Blast Doors to the Throne Room of Shenwrab Miwo's Palace. We lost a further ten killed or wounded Jaffa in the doing but managed to break through. As I jury-rigged the blast doors open, Chen rolled the last of our grenades through the slowly opening entrance to the throne room.

The explosion took down another dozen enemy Jaffa and we soon followed it up by attacking as we entered. I blew the arm off a Jaffa with my Tianyan Staff Rifle before kicking another Jaffa into a third. The pair went down in a tangle of limbs and armor for Chen to blast with a pair of shots. I looked to my right to see the Bearded Form of Shenwrab Miwo hit a panel on his throne. Out of the floor rose a pair of plasma cannons that two of the swiftly dwindling enemy Jaffa raced to man. Gyalpo Pehar shot one through the throat and I blew the legs off the other, but they were swiftly replaced and began firing on our Jaffa. A dozen of our remaining Jaffa were scythed down all as Shenwrab Miwo laughed from his throne.

"Traitors and Fools! That is what you are! You will die the deaths due to such low people!" Laughed Shenwrab Miwo from his throne.

With a growl, I pulled my Diàn Jiàn Model Zat'nic'tel and set it for Electromagnetic Pulse. As by the time I had, another four of our Jaffa were down, but I fired two EMP Blasts at the Staff Cannons, frying their crystalline circuits in a coruscating arc of lightning. Chen took out the Cannoneers as they tried in vain to continue to scythe down our Jaffa. Our remaining thirty-two Jaffa managed to blast the remnants of the enemy Jaffa in the throne room even as Shenwrab Miwo suddenly lost all his bluster.

"No! No! This cannot happen! I am the Great One! Not you! I will not be extinguished by the Line of Yu!" He ranted, hitting another panel on his throne.

Immediately a shield sprang up around him as he hit another panel and a pair of firing apertures like the ones on a Ma'tok Staff Weapon folded out of the arms of his throne. He fired only two pulses, wounding a pair of Gyalpo Pehar's less well-equipped Jaffa before I hit that throne with another trio of EMP Blasts from my Diàn Jiàn Model Zat'nic'tel. The arcs of blue lightning ran through the electronic components, killing the Throne's Ma'tok Firing Apertures even as the shield that protected Shenwrab Miwo stuttered and died while our thirty remaining Jaffa killed the last of Shenwrab Miwo's Jaffa in the throne room.

I holstered my Diàn Jiàn Model Zat'nic'tel and drew my Ma'tok Staff Weapon, only for Gyalpo Pehar to put a hand on my arm. I looked over at the man, to see just how much he had been roughed up by this fight. His armor was blasted away in places and his left shoulder was bleeding from a wound he had taken, his Kara'kesh long since having had its circuits fused together in the heavy fighting.

"No. Let me do it." He insisted.

"It would be Poetic Justice, My Lord." Huffed Chen from nearby.

"I like that. You hear that, Shenwrab Miwo? It seems you will not be slain by the Line of Yu after all, but by a Vassal who has harbored a Grudge for years!" I laughed.

"Gyalpo Pehar! It was you, wasn't it? You were the reason Svarog's Whore of a Daughter refused to bow down and be my Queen?" Demanded Shenwrab Miwo.

"I have waited for this day since you forced her into Canoptic Stasis." Confirmed Gyalpo Pehar.

"I never liked you, you know! May you be roasted alive for your treachery for a thousand years!" Spat Shenwrab Miwo.

Even as he cursed Gyalpo Pehar, the Goa'uld in question fired his Ma'tok Staff several times, the bolts striking Shenwrab Miwo in rapid succession, blowing the head off of him with a blast to his neck that ensured the Symbiote died with the host. Once that was done, I sent the recording back to Shun on the Xiaotian Quan to play over the entire city of Gser Pho Brang using the modified Voc'uume Projector I had been playing with. The remaining Enemy Jaffa would watch the death of their Lord play out in living color and Three-Dimensional Picture. As I did that, however, Gyalpo Pehar busied himself with the oddly prominent Canoptic Stasis Sarcophagus located in an alcove that seemed designed to draw the eye to it.

First, he powered down the mechanisms, the blinking lights shutting off one by one. Only when they were all off did Gyalpo Pehar open the sarcophagus. Inside, the form of a willowy, auburn-haired, Woman, in traditional Slavic Dress lay in the chamber. As Gyalpo Pehar hit other switches, the restraints keeping the Woman upright released, and Gyalpo Pehar caught her limp form, cradling her like a lover. Slowly, after several moments passed for the nightmare-inducing drugs to leave her system, the Woman woke up.

"Mokosh, you have returned to me!" Beamed Gyalpo Pehar.

"My Love? This is not a dream? If so, I am finally free." Responded the Woman, the Goa'uld Mokosh.

I couldn't help it, behind my faceplate I smiled at the reunion of the two lovers. Not only was this a good deed, but it would also further Gyalpo Pehar's road toward understanding, while also helping to get me more vassalized worlds. It was a good feeling, as it now meant I would have sixteen worlds under my aegis. A few moments later, word came from General Yan over comms. Aside from a few holdouts in a fortified Ma'tok Workshop, the enemy had surrendered.

It took just over an hour of battle, and our strike force suffered fifty-three percent casualties, of which, we would get sixty-five percent back with time and the healing device, meaning we would actually suffer a bit over eighteen and a half percent casualties as unrecoverable. Meanwhile, our main force suffered far less. Twelve percent casualties, with half of those being unrecoverable. Enemy losses however were total. Kataki was ours, as were Sa Dong and Laska after only five days of fighting.

We would push on the worlds of Tengri Next, after which we would have to stop in order to meet with my Uncle, who would make his way out to retrieve tribute from me as my Overlord. I would need to pull off my conquest by then, though. If I could do it, it would give me a strong bargaining position with which to negotiate my installation as a System Lord in my own right. And that, was a necessary step for what would come next. A break with the Empire in the midst of the oncoming Civil War, once Ra's Death was confirmed by the other System Lords. Hopefully, I would be able to finish my conquest by the time I had to meet my Uncle.

If not, then my entire plan for the future would need to be revised. . .

AN: All right, so here we have the last of the Battles against Shenwrab Miwo. Not only has Erlang Shen taken Kataki, killing Shenwrab Miwo in the process, but he has freed Mokosh and given Gyalpo Pehar his Queen back. This will definitely ensure loyalty in those two for centuries to come, not that this fic will last into the centuries. Now he had one last Minor Goa'uld's Doman to conquer before meeting Lord Yu to talk and deliver tributes.

At any rate, the next chapter will involve the beginning of said conquest. I'll also have images up before then showing Mokosh, Begtse, and a few other bits and bobs from the past couple of chapters.

Stay tuned. . .
