I can't imagine Jozef wanting to wear that crown again if he doesn't have to. Gold is heavy as shit, after all, even without all the topazes and garnets.
At any rate, the next chapter should be up in a few days, it will be a time-skippy one, covering the stretch of time between the Coronation and the beginning of Operation: Gotterdamerung and the Invasion of Von Strang's World. There's no way that Jozef would miss that, so you'll get to see him in action again after a bunch of chapters of non-combat stuff soon.
