Polls will be returning next week!

It's time to hold myself accountable. And by hold myself accountable, I mean I'm going to crowdsource accountability onto you so that you can hold me accountable for the things that I can't hold myself accountable for because I am weak. That way, when I inevitably disappoint everybody, it'll be our fault, because you choose to either vote or not vote in my polls. That's the beauty of democracy, you know. When the entire economy collapses and your neighbors turn into zombies, there's no question who is ultimately to blame for the disaster. If you voted for the wrong thing, it's your fault, you nincompoop. If you didn't vote, it's still your fault for opting out and leaving it to chaos to decide. If you voted for the right thing but it didn't win, that's your fault for not convincing everyone else who voted for the wrong thing to vote for the right thing by investing billions of dollars of your hard earned cash into shaping the narrative.

It just works. It's always worked, it will always work, forever and ever, trust me.

Anyway, I have a bunch of small sketches and WIPs as usual that I'll post once the polls are ready, but I wasn't able to finish anything I'd consider substantial for October. While I originally discontinued polls due to an ever growing laundry list of personal problems, I'm feeling a little more positive about bringing them back. The guidance should help me steer into less stormy, more decisive waters again. I've got the time to draw at the moment, but I just don't have the bravery to commit in any one direction so I'm just drowning in a pile of WIPs that never get that extra coat of paint.

The polls will be conducted a little differently this time. Rather than picking a single piece or set to grind out on a deadline, I'll put the top three highest voted into rotation and work on them until they're finished to a level of satisfaction I can reasonably live with. Rather than a poll the first week of every month, I'll open them as the work gets done. I feel this is the most balanced option for me.
