Feed the dragon - trying to figure out what to do

Hi everyone! We'll be blunt right off and say were not happy with the current state of the feed the dragon tier and really struggling to figure out how to pick it back up after falling behind after a few months. We said we would get back to it in november and we have actually been trying but every attempt has largely gone nowhere, even though were having fun drawing Anything Else except updates to it. And prior to the break, we were already seeing signs of such with finding difficulty to make updates and feeling like the results often showed that we just didn't have that much drawing them and finished them more out of obligation than because we have any passion for it.

We knew this idea would start running into obstacles of various kinds at some point, it was a very silly experimental thing, and theres only so big a tummy can get before every drawing starts feeling like a repeat of the last one, hence why would frequently adjust the amount each patron added to keep a generally interesting pace to things. But we had always had the idea in mind that if we reached the point that things became unfun we could reset with a new base idea. We're not certain if we're at the point where we should do that? But we're also not certain how to continue as things are.

Along with that, we're trying to think of ways to have more involvement from members of the tier to make it more fun for you all to participate in and for us to work on. One thought we had with that is having a post where people can comment suggestions for ideas for the next expansion update and we'll put our favorites into a poll for people to vote on. Another potential thought is a different type of poll with a way for people to vote where to distribute the added size across different sections of the characters body (working via the percentage of each vote result).

Our general thought between those two potential ideas is: giving some control to the patrons both lets them have more fun and also gives us more constraint to work under (a good thing. Having absolutely no constraints to work in has been part of the problem with coming up with ideas).

We are heavily considering reseting things when a new change, whatever it ends up being, is implemented. It's a good time with Liliko having a drastic redesign, and we think patron involvement will be more fun starting fresh than continuing on from last time.
