THIS WAS TRAUMATIC INDEED, bc all this time we have Eren's POV; Armin is our childhood bestfriend that we share all our memory, hope, dream with. And suddenly we were shown Armin's burned body... Erwin was an admirable leader the world needed.... I personally feel like I experienced all the loss firsthand.. Tthis series unfolds in tragedy, yet its essence inspires profound resilience!! I cant agree more, the pain strengthens our emotional connection to the series! I'm ecstatic that you shared a similar experience while watching it, just as I did!! Trueeee😭😭😭

I watched this reaction last night and it hit me just has hard as it did the first time - seeing Armin's burned body is such a disturbing visual and feels really unexpected for a main character to have to go through! What really made the episode rough for me is that even aside from the CRUEL CHOICE that Levi had to make of saving either Erwin or Armin - is that both of them were accepting death despite having such strong wishes that they would not be able to achieve, and both still had a reason to live on but chose to help others reach their goals. It really pains me seeing especially Mikasa in such a state of distress, and despite Armin being revived, we still have to not only stomach the defeat of the beast titan and armored titan getting away, but that a great man like Erwin had to die. Attack on Titan really pushes the limits of giving a glimmer of hope in an onslaught of despair, but I feel this strengthens my emotional connection to the series. I greatly appreciate you sharing your reactions and experiences to this series, and staying true to showing pure and raw emotion! I was an absolute WRECK when I first saw this scene, and your reaction was EXACTLY how I handled it. I look forward to seeing the rest of your reactions to this series, and I think your pure reactions like this really resonate with the reason why great anime can really touch someone!
