Ohhhh that makes a lot of sense they way you put it, that moment with Misa just felt very sacred, with hidden meaning... and that moment when you mention about Christian allusion of Jesus washing Judas's feet before he was betrayed and killed, that moment turns out to be symbolic! I cant believe this happened to L... His reaction the moment he realized what happened to him was so painful to see, gone too soon...

I just got caught up with your uploads and have alot of comments for videos but it's late at night and I'm falling asleep LMAO - but I wanted to mention that if you look back on many moments of the series, Light refers to himself as being a "God" and there's little bits that sort of hint at religious undertones. To me, Misa dressing up in order to act as a vessel for Kira's execution feels like she is putting on sacrificial robes in a very ordained way, as if this is her spiritual duty. The scene with L cleaning Lights feet is kind of weird at first, but I think there's kind of two things going on. Part of it is I think that L is not only realizing that his he lost, but also that he's having doubts about his faith in his OWN Justice. There is also a pretty direct Christian allusion of Jesus washing Judas's feet before he was betrayed and killed. I think that L mentioning atoning for his sins leans into this idea a bit as well!
