I thought the last one was ok, and I was going to be happy even if it was a mediocre show - but seeing how they gave us kind of a sneak peak at alot of major points through the first season, it does feel like many of the "Live Action" decisions they made were perhaps for the best. I had my father watch this trailer (who doesn't have an interest in anime) but he wants to see this because it reminds him of Pirates of the Caribbean. I think they have make sure that the core DNA of the show is there for the current fans, but they have kept it open enough so that it will appeal to anyone that likes fun shows! I wasn't too sure about Arlong at first, but when I think about it, it may be much cleaner to keep him as an actor with practical effects so that the fight scenes and chemistry between actors much more believable. I'm definitely looking forward to this show! Adapting anime to live action has always been a challenge, but I feel confident that this is going to be at least the best attempt at making it stick!
