too bad was in vain since we know nothing good will come out of Misa owning Geleus' book. But, when you put Geleus' story like that he kind of reminds me of the in real story of Ariel who supposedly to turn into sea foam, that moment when Geleus died i agree with you and that's why we felt bad for him..

One interesting thing I'm just noticing now - the default way that humans die from the Death Note is with a very violent and scary heart attack, but when Gelus died it was more peaceful. There was some bright sparkles that fell like raindrops, and before he turned to dust there was an exhale that sounded more like relieving pain.
