Ohmy well saidπππ Like you said, each one of Oda's arc ends are unique and never feel boring to watch even after so many arcs passed, you said the story also represents real world issues in a fantasy setting is just π― accurate! Im lost for words. I can see how you love the show so much, its such a great feeling to be able to connect to people with same interest! If only i can watch this anime non-stop, i wouldπ Im happy with this opportunity to share my reaction with you guys so you'd remember how you felt 1st time watched this.. its an honor to have your support. 2023-07-05 11:18:45 +0000 UTCI always think Oda has such an amazing skill with ending an arc - I get such a sense of closure and reflection on everything that has happened, and the excitement of what's to come! It makes so so emotional all the strawhats pinky promising Shirahoshi - reminds me of when they said goodbye to Vivi in Alabasta by holding up the friendship X's on their arms, as well as the moment right as Queen Otome was dying she touched Pinky's with her children. To the point of you mentioning not wanting One Piece to end, that's the thing that is so interesting when I hear people say "I don't want to get into One Piece, it's too long!". I said the same exact thing before I gave the snow a shot, and now I'm so emotionally attached to it. Part of me thinks it's because each Arc really feels different from the last, not just in location but also in thematic storytelling elements - but the main thing is how effortlessly the story deals with representing real world issues in a fantasy setting, but does it clever enough to where you subconsciously connect the dots to how it compares to situations in the real world. I just love the show so much! And I thank you for continuing to upload reactions, it's a real treat to be a long for the ride with you!
