2024-06-13 16:05:16 +0000 UTCI know everyone will probably say that about their favorite show, but I think GG is truly unique in the sense that it's not just a random comfort show, but it's incredibly funny, quirky (and yes, that included Miss Patty and Babette, lol!), and just so intelligent in terms of the writing.

2024-06-12 17:55:24 +0000 UTC“Amy, who the hell is Amy?” Me! Me it’s me! 😅🤣 I’m a child! 😝 how anyone can say Rory didn’t care about Luke….this scene speaks volumes. Her mom was with a great guy that loves her and makes her happy, and Emily deliberately encouraged him to ruin the relationship, even stating she didn’t think much of Chris but hey, at least he comes from money! To give Sookie some credit, pregnancy can be exhausting. She wanted to take a Lorelai out but pregnancy is pretty draining hence the falling asleep. We can’t call it development, development would be her realising she did something wrong and wanting to fix it. She’s doing this not because she feels bad for ruining things, but because Lorelai won’t talk to her. That’s not development. 🤷♀️

Yet, I think it shows how much she actually loves Lorelei that she “agrees” that she should date Luke (not that she has any right to decide, but she definitely thinks she does). Emily’s actions are really egoistic but they allow us to see that in her own way she prioritizes having a relationship with Lorelei to Lorelei living under her rules (e.g. dating a “proper” man) which is hard for Emily since she is used to being always right. P.S. Emily is such a complex character, I support her rights and wrongs 😂

It’s always ranked really high on Netflix viewer lists because everyone rewatches since it’s such a comfort show This episode is amazing. Could not wait to see your reaction to the kiss 😭 this season is great and excited to see what you think of the rest of it!
