Patreon Tribulations
Added 2017-12-10 07:57:55 +0000 UTCI'm honestly pretty shit when it comes to posting about more serious matters, but I suppose there's no point dancing around the elephant in the room - I'm sure most of you are aware of Patreon's clusterfuck idea over applying service fees on the patron end, as well the immense backlash they're facing for it. I'm doing what I can to join the huge pushback, so hopefully they'll come to their senses and make the right choice.
Whether it goes through or not, I'll most likely still be here - there's not really any viable alternatives for NSFW creators at the moment. I'm hoping you guys will stick with me, but I completely understand if you have to drop out.
With that said, thanks again for all the support you've given me so far. It's really been a life-changer for me and it genuinely makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere in life with my silly projects.
I'm always thinking up some more neat ideas for my projects, so keep your eyes out and your ears open!
(PS. In addition to my main NSFW projects, I've been tinkering with a tiny SFW project with some friends since around June or so - I'll hopefully have something to show on that in the future as well, so keep an eye out.)

Yeah, I noticed that right away (I think i even gave you a ashotuout on twitter) - thanks a ton! Really helped ease up my anxiety at the height of this whole mess. A couple other folks upped donations too to take some of the weight off - thanks again, you guys are lifesavers!

2017-12-12 03:02:56 +0000 UTCI don't understand the big deal, I mean, it's just more money going to supportees. Isn't that what supporters should want? More money going to the content creators that make content they enjoy? Maybe they should just add a default on option to pay for the fee as a supporter, so that way people can just opt out if they want. Regardless, I doubt many of your supporters are going anywhere, and if they do, your overall income probably won't be affected much due to the fact that you're not effectively paying for the fees anymore.

I make enough at the moment that sticking around won't hurt my wallet too much but I just hope it doesn't affect your other patrons too much so you can keep doing what you want. Stay positive bud.
