[MGQ3D] Feedback Time!

I'm still tinkering with HDoom things at the moment, but I feel like it's a good time to probe around for ideas so that I have a good idea of where to start when I start putting together the assets for the next demo.

So I guess the question is, what area and what monsters would you like to see in the next MGQ3D demo?   


(As a sidenote, we have another update to the combat system being worked on - it's looking to be a lot more responsive and the special moves will hopefully be more flashy and arcade/hack-and-slash styled.)

I'd like somewhat of a swamp level before the Haunted Mansion level. It'd allow you to get more creative with your monster-girls because there's a lot of things you could find in a swamp. I do have one thing I feel the need to bring up, which is the fact that you recycled the Kitsune animation for both Zombie girls and the last boss. While I was fine with the Zombie girls, Recycling animations for the end boss of all things isn't right.

Well, MGQ has all kinds of crazy monster (girls) that aren't limited to "girl with feature has sex", just saying I fell in love with the series before I was even ready to see that shit [years ago], if you want to tackle that game. I'd recommend trying to take on the similar environments he had to, like the "Iron Maiden" or the underwater monsters. Just saying this is what sets the game apart from pretty much all other games

Hmm hard to say what I would like to see next. I would like to see some spider girls or centaurs eventually, mostly spider girls. Also any way to add cumming scenes to the other ones, so far only the slimes have it. As for other levels, I think something different from the last 2 would be nice. A village works, maybe far eastern style, maybe something more mountainous. A beach, or maybe underwater could be cool

Hmm, I'd have to say that including the starting village after its destruction would be interesting. Maybe have his awakening be part of a tutorial or something, to show off everything going on? I haven't played it in a while to be honest, but I'm sure you'll know what to do next!

Harpy/Happiness Village would be sweet, which would work well with the Forest level you've already created. Have you thought about incorporating some monsters from MGQ - Paradox? There's a few new ones from that game that could make interesting enemies.

Yeah. I wanna expand on the town and villager assets soon, especially now that we have an initial dialogue/VN system in. I'm hoping to eventually flesh out Illiasville into an actual town hub sort of level where you can actually talk to people and get information and the like. There will be other towns and cities as well - both as hubs and action levels.

Yeah, a volcano/magma map somewhere is a must. I wanna do an underwater level and a water spring cavern too somewhere along the road.

there's a Pyramid level in the original MGQ, so i'll definitely put that down for the future - though I think i'm probably looking for a level that will utilize some of the existing general-purpose monsters in addition to new monsters for right now. there will absolutely be a pyramid level at some point though.

I'm thinking of a desert/pyramid or rainforest for the locale. As for monster girls, I'd love to see some dragon, lamia/naga and reptile girls.

Yeah, two-tail kitsune is great. 4 bandits are already pretty much confirmed, as are the heavenly knights and the spirits - it's just a matter of when.

If you're looking for an end goal of a demo for a full game, you need to make a vertical slice, right? So what haven't we gotten a taste of yet?

The "dangerous bandits" you meet early in the game, the Goblin, Vampire, Lamia and Dragon. Best girls haha. You kind of already did my favorite, Kitsune... haha...

A winter level where we could probably find some snow foxes, snow rabbits, seals, owls that fly and for a big enemy possibly a polar bear boss?

Succubus village would be pretty cool. But if we wanted something unique, maybe a rocky, mountainous/volcanic map featuring monster girls like the behemoth, cerberus and basilisk.

An escape style level would be cool too! One where you lose your weapon at the start and have to find it before getting outta there!

I for one would LOVE to free roam in Yamatai; the way we do it in Monster Girl Quest Paradox is good, but to actually move around, see the buildings around you and walk through the rice fields? THAT'S the kind of immersion I want the most! As for girls, totally all Yamatai girls: The elves, Samurai and kounichi, the nekomata, the akaname (would love a kissing animation for the red one), kejourou, and of course, the Miko Lamia and Shirohebi, but not vore animations with those two, even though they're lamias.

I feel like either the "bandits" or the water temple because I feel you could do some cool looking maps with that

Maybe the Treasure Cave where Luka got the Bell or the underwater area where Luka meets the Kraken.

Harpy villiage and the bandits are both definitely on the list of things I 100% want in the game. I wanna do some Xelvy-bots in the future too.

Oh, right Areas, hmm, I haven't actually played the original trilogy, only paradox, but anything oriental or Japanese-vibed goes well for me, a city, as in, a big city would be cool too, and there's plenty of those to choose from. I also just remembered, TOUCH FLUFFY TAIL i mean-- Kitsunes, I mean, we already have one but she's a loli. The rat girl is also kinda cute. AND LAMB GIRL OH GOD LAMB GIRL.

I'd love to see an Arachne boss. A forest level with a lot of Bug/Plant Monster Girls. That or a level that kinda plays on the Doom Hell levels with a whole bunch of Demon Monster Girls.

So you're not going in story order or anything like that?
