In this episode, you can see Emma has already changed so much. She’s open and has her guard down with Ian even though Ian is annoying as hell but he’s what she needs right now. She puts so much into Dexter…she needs someone to pour into her.

I personally find Ian quite annoying, but at this point, Emma really needs the love and attention he’s willing to give her. She’s doubted herself for too long, and being in love with someone who doesn’t love you back doesn’t help. Excited to see your upcoming reactions.
