Just finished the series and I loved it. The acting was superb and the setting was amazing! The ending was very simple, yet very satisfying. I'm glad it wasn't about a female ghost who walked at night and freezed people to death god knows why. I agree with you, it's definitely not better than S1 (let's be honest, it's hard to top it), but still pretty decent detective series.
