I just never found him likeable unfortunately… the other characters def have flaws but I just resonated with them more. George reminds me of those “nice guys finish last” type of guys that have no self awareness of why women don’t like them.

2023-08-20 11:48:57 +0000 UTCCallie! Also George is right to feel hurt but he's not acknowledging that Mer is always working through her trauma. She embarrassed him, but he never asked why she was so willing and why she broke down, not the greatest friend.

2023-08-19 15:15:01 +0000 UTCAm I the only one that found George insufferable this episode? He wanted to sleep with Merideth and she slept with him and he acts like she shot his mom? They both had sex so why is Merideth the one blamed like she did something awful. Sure, she probably shouldn’t have slept with him if she knew she wasn’t into him, but she explains that she didn’t know and she wanted to give him a chance. Plus, George knew that Merideth was still in love with Derek and heartbroken yet he slept with her; so if anything they both took advantage of each other. Yeah crying during sex is not something anyone wants but it’s not like she was deliberately trying to hurt him or make him feel bad, she was probably just picturing Derek the whole time and sad. Was she supposed to just sit there and fake it when she felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to anymore? Maybe I’m biased because I never liked George and found his relationship storylines the least interesting storylines of the show.
