UNCUT: Scream 6 (2023) Reaction

this movie is remakes of the originals scenes. Gale getting punched, (scream 1) the motive being a relative getting revenge, (scream 2) sam getting out of the billys costume aka sidney did the same thing (scream 1) , going to college (scream 2), core 4 (literally just dewey, randy, sidney and gale in scream 2), sam being cautious with danny but ends up showing hes not ghostface (scream 2 with derek), Chad constantly surviving stabs (dewey). Basically scream 6 being a close remake of scream 2. I just want originality, make sam ghostface, we see it coming just do it already, shes not sidney, make things different.. I think the writings are so focused on the iconic scenes we loved years ago that they keep remaking it with new charcters like switch it up just like scream 1-4 are different. Scream 5 is literally scream 1 again and scream 6 is so close to scream 2.

I did enjoy this movie but it is still low on my ranking. My ranking is Scream , scream 2 , scream 4 , Scream 3 , Scream 6 , Scream 5. In my opinion I wished Gale wasn’t in the movie even though her chase scene was my favourite in the movie and Courteney was amazing in it her story could have end in 5. It just felt like they undid some of her character development just to have a Legacy character in it and say would could kill them. I was like you I knew they weren’t going kill Gale off so it did take me a little out of that scene.

they wrote the storyline in of Sam being hated online because the actress was after scream 5 (which I don’t get, she wasn’t the best but wasn’t that bad and was definitely wayyy better in 6) I love her and Tara as much as Sidney, also I think chad is meant to be like Dewey in terms of he gets stabbed a lot but doesn’t die lol

Lol its crazy. when you said "i dont think theres anything worse then cold tea" i was sipping cold tea lol but im from america so its a lot more common here. But the timing was immaculate

Yeah still good though but if not for the killer reveal I'd have given this like 4.5 stars because everything before that was amazing

I loved this movie and it was easily my favorite Scream since the first one because it felt like something fresh and new, but they completely ruined the movie for me with that terrible ending and killer reveal lol
