2023-04-14 23:39:01 +0000 UTCI couldn't tell if you were joking but if not SOS was for 'Save Our Souls' not sorry haha. It makes sense in survival to be by water rather than carrying water. They don't really have anything to carry it in, its about 5 miles away which would take about 1.5-2 hours walking so thats 4 hours round trip of walking every time they needed water, and theres too many of them to get that much water even if they did have stuff to carry it in. Also there could be fish in the lake or other animals need to drink water too.
