This ep I think is almost exactly the pilot aside from maybe some backstory I think. For me if I didn’t know who the originals were from watching TVD I wouldn’t have enjoyed the originals tv show but some people have only seen that show and love it. I do know there’s a lot of fights in the fandom on YouTube reaction comments bc a lot of people will start to say TVD sucks in comparison to the originals and put down TVD which I highly disagree with lol! I love the original characters in TVD but nothing will beat the vampire diaries show for me. So beware you might be seeing more YouTube fights lol most reactions I used to watch had a lot of mean comments for some reason.
