It's definitely not good for Julian to be put in this situation but It makes sense that she hasn't thought about that though, it's clear she doesn't even understand her problems. Not to excuse what she's doing, I just don't know if I'd call her manipulative because that suggests she's doing it on purpose when it seems she just doesn't know any better.

2022-12-17 01:42:14 +0000 UTChonestly alex is being manipulative in my opinion. her drug problem is not julian’s responsibility or his fault if she really needed help she could’ve called someone else like an actual professional who was equipped to deal with her situation. pushing serious problems like drug addiction on someone who isn’t qualified to handle it isn’t the best option, yes he’s her friend but there’s a difference between needing a friend to confide in and calling them over to stop you from doing drugs and then basically telling you that you’re the reason they aren’t doing them anymore. she’s guilt tripping him into feeling bad. from brooke’s perspective i can’t blame her at all considering she owes alex nothing and isn’t even friendly with her and she can’t really trust if alex was being genuine. alex hasn’t shown brooke that she’s trustworthy at all. though from julian’s perspective he’s just trying to help someone in need so i can’t blame him either.

2022-12-16 22:50:40 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favourite episodes of S7 and Sophia did a really good job for her first episode directing. I was unsure about this season when it first started but, it really finds it feet especially as it got towards the mid-season point and second half.
