I like Max and Rachel as persons/characters. But they are absolutely not my favorite person to be in a relationship with Lorelai or Luke. I love this series - glad to watch it about the 7th time - now with your reaction. I love the wit, sarcastic tone, all in all the dialouges and chemistry and the references - even if I don't get about 60% of those.
