Alicent is such a hypocrite, I mean she is low key seducing 2 men who are not her husband, allowing one of them to jack off right in front of her over her own exposed feet & her eldest son is a rapist man whore, yet she still consistently judges Rhaenyra. She always acts so innocent and holy because she does not get her own hands dirty but all the murders she allows to happen by the 2 men loyal to her without any consequences for them. And this episode was even worse, she hears her husband died and immediately keeps it within the red keep so she and her father can steal the throne from Rhaenyra. Like, Rhaenyra doesn't even know her father died! Daemon doesn't know his brother died! The Hightowers are just the worst!

2022-12-08 16:23:39 +0000 UTCAs much i was wanting Rhaenys to burn them all in the end when i first watched it and then thought the scene and her not doing it didnt make much sense, i think kind of differently now. Of course she could have prevented all what comes next and therefore also the show with one dracarys but it would have made Rhaenys a kinslayer and a kingslayer which is one the worst things in the Game of Thrones world. The people in Kings Landing also wouldnt support Rhaenyra more because the Hightowers did a clever move. They said that it was the late Kings wish to change the succession. So with these points it makes more sense to me
