Twitchat redesign in progress!
Added 2023-04-19 23:30:38 +0000 UTCHello, I wanted to share with you a little sneak peek of what I've been working on for the past few days, and the past few weeks!
I finally got bored by the current design of Twitchat and decided to redesign everything.
Many things were "not so good" if not bad, starting with that half-dark half-light theme that could satisfy neither of the dark-mode or light-mode fans. And I had enough of that purple... (not saying the green-ish current replacement will stay tho)
So, here is a very early preview of what's been done the last 3-4 days. I'm butchering everything up during this process to clean up lots of things so visually it may not seem like much, but trust me, a lot changed behind the scene 😅
Things have high chances to completely change from that preview before I finish it (e.g. I havent touched messages yet), but I thought it would be worth sharing it with my fellow Patrons 💝
Also, the original goal of that redesign is to provide something requested by quite some people: both a dark and a light theme. And ideally, but can't promise, the possibility to customize some colors of the interface, like messages highlight colors.
Hope you find it at least "O.K", hopefully not ugly 😬
And if anyone has webdesign skills, which I definitelly lack of, feel free to point out what I could be doing wrong so I can make it better.
At the same time, for the past few weeks I made lots of changes on the trigger system to make it more powerful by allowing to add conditions, create multiple different triggers for the same trigger event as well as, so far, 8 new trigger event types, one of which being a little special. Some people are beta-testing these changes and it seem to work nicely so far!
