Give it a try Joe. The first 2 episides are boring. It only gets real good come episode 3 and improve as time goes by. Btw, I dont really like the Sookie character as well 🤭

2022-06-24 17:01:51 +0000 UTCMaybe it was just the way you sometimes mocked loudly what was being said on screen that made me think that - but it's probably just because I haven't noticed that in other reactions to other series, so it just caught me off guard. I also haven't watched One Tree Hill or a couple of those similar shows, so maybe this is common and I just didn't know :p

2022-06-24 16:41:02 +0000 UTCThat's funny, I didn't pick up on that. I think he seemed to enjoy the fast paced, or at least the fast sarcasm from Lorelai and Emily. But yeah, I would maybe actually recommend him to put on subtitles, because then he won't miss a thing, because it can maybe be a bit diffecult to react/talk when the dialouge is always going..?

2022-06-24 00:42:54 +0000 UTCHopefully you can give this show a decent chance - maybe it's just me but you already seemed kinda annoyed by a lot of it. The dialogue is REALLY fast paced - so it's quite easy to miss an entire conversation in the span of like 10 seconds. I've actually never seen someone try to react to this show before so who knows how it will go :p

2022-06-23 21:56:15 +0000 UTCThe issue is she A. Isn’t asking Lorelai first she’s just barrelling over what Lorelai (the mother!!!) wants. Lorelai has every right to tell her to back off and butt out. Yea they might be paying tuition BUT 1. It’s a loan she’s paying them back! and 2. They have an agreement that Emily needs to stick to. This is why Lorelai was so hesitant to ask for help in the first place. Because she knew her mother would just take over everything. 🤷♀️

Not sure if that’s as normal outside of the U.S. but where I live it’s like known that grandparents spoil the grandkids behind the parents back. I know both my grandmas bought things behind my dads back. Like one time in highschool I dropped my phone and shattered the screen. I went straight to my grandma to ask her for help on getting the screen fixed bc I knew my dad would be mad and she took that secret to her grave. My dads mom helped him buy all my prom dresses bc my dad was a single parent. Grandparents love to buy things for grandkids here and with her never being able to she is excited to help. She just needs to remember when it’s appropriate. The clothes thing is fine imo. As long as Rory doesn’t expect things from them I don’t see an issue
