The last two episodes it wasn't so much Vicky, she was the meanning for us to learn about the whole process of becoming a vampire, transitioning and be a new vampire means, what they go through, how the personality of somebody play a part in it, what they feel, How their body function, do they pee? And so on... They are extablishing this universe lore and rules.

It is not like other shows at all, the details are massive an accuratelly planed, they give you ne piece of information that will match up and make sense many episodes after. Therefore if you talk over the dialogue, you are missing very important iformations and body language. So as others do stop, and say what you want to say and start again. With other show it doesn't matter, with this show you have to.
