2020-08-20 13:50:31 +0000 UTCI think in the car scene with Nathan and Haley you thought you heard Nathan say that Haley is "not ganna turn him down" for tutoring (which would be a pretty pressuring thing to say). But I think he actually said that she wouldn't "tear him down". I think that this is an interesting look into his character because we know that his dad tears him down all the time. Haley is a good teacher and doesn't judge him or tear him down for not getting something. and he also mentions how he is embarrassed that he is failing and so he doesn't want anyone else to know but her.
