Yep the grand outside shots of Hogwarts are mostly filmed using a model replica which is on display at Warner Bros Studio Tours in Watford. You should totally visit - you would absolutely love it!! They have all the sets (including diagon alley and the great hall)!, costumes, objects, you can go on the Hogwarts express... it’s honestly fantastic, I can’t wait to go back there. :)

I actually started reading the first 3 books a year before that. HP has been a great part of my late childhood and teenage years, i grew up with this saga and I always love coming back to it. I'm really looking forward to all your reactions of the movies. The music is so perfect, i have every soundtrack on CDs 😁 I especially love the way they made Hedwige's theme evolve through the years. And I agree, this Dumbledore is perfect, he's exactly the way I pictured him when reading the books.

Just with the vile nonsense JKR has been spewing I thought it might be an idea. To show that while many of us might enjoy the HP world we don't support her, but acknowledge that the creator of this world is a terf and it's not helpful to pretend that things haven't been said. The problem is she has a confirmed gay character (Dumbledore) but refuses to make it explicit on screen in the Fantastic beast movies that he is gay (depsite his lover being right fucking there in the movies). That's why shes a bigot. Also, goblins are anti-semitic cartictures and the fact she made them bankers too is bad. Cho Chang has a very sterotypical name that J.K slapped onto one of her few Asian characters. And don't even get me started on the overall fatphobia in the books

She’s been tweeting harmful and untrue Terf rhetoric out to millions of her followers. This is dangerous and can actually impact the opinions of her very young followers, and lead to harm against trans people. This isn’t an isolated incident, she’s been super anti-trans and Terfy for a couple of years now. She liked anti-trans tweets as early as 2019 of last year. Even the actors of Harry Potter have all come out against her (Dan Rad, Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright). To say she has done nothing wrong is FALSE. Please educate yourself on the matter before commenting next time. I know it must be hard to do when you are too busy being a homophobe and crying over a character being “turned” gay on a fantasy show.
