2020-06-02 05:13:45 +0000 UTCJust wanted to say that Cameron the actor that plays Ian, thought that Mickey and Ian deserved a drink after Mickeys coming out. So he brought the pocket flask to ad in the scene. Also the kiss on the head was improvised.

He very obviously loves Ian and wishes he could be himself (which I’m happy he will finally be able to now). Like you said it’s just a very tricky situation. Mickey has lived in fear his entire life so he’s not a coward for being scared that he’ll LITERALLY be killed by his father. But you also can’t be mad at Ian for wanting to have a relationship where he doesn’t have to hide.
