Every episode is better than the last, and I was surprised by how much I was rooting for most of the characters even though we only spend to little time with them. And I agree with you that sometimes it feels a little rushed, and there are time jumps where months have passed without showing the time but I guess that's the curse of a limited series. At this point I wished to just see more of them (but at least that's better than being bored lol). One more episode to go!
