The theme for Excalibur is such a beautiful piece of music, it's just perfect. I love how this episode gave us some backstory for Uther and Nimueh. Each time I see that scene of Merlin trying to burn the black knight, i think of the video diary when Colin says "he's gonna burn!!!" I loved when you said Uther shipped Arthur and Merlin! That was literally all merthur fans thinking the same thing, Uther gave them the royal seal of approval 😜. With the budget they had for season 1,I suppose they had to mainly stick to studio and the Castle in France.
