So you were asking about how they filmed it. I am pretty sure on youtube there is a behind the scenes on the filming of this, but essentially they used cranes to float the gentlemen and then had to remove the wires manually in editing. It's also said that Joss decided to make this episode because everyone (magazines, and whatever) kept saying people only like the show because of its witty writing and dialogue. Joss was getting fed up of hearing that that was all there was to the show, so he was like 'fuck it, I'll make an episode with no dialogue for 3/4 of the episode!' and proved all the critics wrong! Managed to make an epic episode with scares, tension, comedy, drama, great musical score and great monsters!
