Yeah I'm on Rachels side, she has made it clear many times that she is going to New York, if Finn is changing his mind about it then he is changing his mind about her, he knows she's gonna go there, he had so many chances to look for job opportunities and hasn't, I think he's freaking out about the wedding a little, a life hanging out with Puck and getting cougars sounds exciting

I don't think he's trying to be pessimistic and say that Quinn will never walk again, but that she needs to accept the fact that her life has changed. It's okay to have recovery goals (for her that is to walk again), but she needs to realize that she will never be "normal" again, like she was before the accident. A spine injury stays with you for the rest of your life (most likely in the form of movement issues and pain). In that sense, she will always be disabled. She is now "like him," despite what she says. So I think that's what Artie was trying to say, that he's been where she is and that it's going to be okay! Being disabled is not something to be ashamed of!
