Finally had time to watch this! Such a fun episode. The Xander/Harmony scene is iconic, they do a good job of fully introducing Riley and helping the viewer to root for him, and that Spike/Willow bite scene is genuinely concerning on first watch. Don't know if you missed Riley's line about Spike now not being able to hit/bite a human without feeling intense neurological pain (you may have been too focused on Riley's friend haha), but it's such a fantastic choice from the writers.

Bein a main should always mean the character is part of the main plot and/or has their own story for as long as they're a main, which way too many shows don't actually deliver on, but the Buffyverse does, so strap in.

I’ve been waiting for this moment! Not sure if you caught it but While he was captured the professor put a chip in his head that’s why he can’t hit or bite anyone Also that Harmony and Xander slap fight is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen to this very day! 😂This season is I think the funniest one, so many amazing moments I can’t wait for you to experience. Every episode is just a joy to watch. Can’t wait for next week for more Buffy! Very curious how you feel about Riley going forward because the fandom has some strong opinions for sure 😂♥️

This is one of my favourite episodes of Season 4, and I can't really explain why. To me, this is the true beginning of the season - episodes 1-6 are like an intro to season 4. Plus Spike is finally an official main character! Can't wait to watch this later :)
